What damage is caused when a rod shoots out of the block? On my evo 9 mr i have all 4 rods sticking out the block probably a big fist size hole. I was only running 30psi when this blew out on e85. Does the head get damaged as well? NEW ENGINE NEEDED HERE! LET ANYONE WHO HAS A EVO 9 ENGINE KNOW.

 

It's all depends. It's best to take it apart and inspect the head only way of knowing. Any idea why it blew? Bad tune maybe or ?

Yeah all 4 blew out, I will post pictures later today. I got tuned by boostin performance but i had a leak and it blew up.. Stupid mistake.
