Road trip unhook intercooler pipe

If I'm going on a 1300 mile road trip all highway could I unhook the charge pipe to throttle body? and retune it without the boost? If so would I get a noticeable difference in fuel mileage

unless you are speed density the engine wont run, also I don't think you will gain anything by trying to bypass the turbo, your not boosting when cruising anyways.

Alright I won't even try then. Just figured it would be like a regular 4 cylinder then. But if I have a car try to race me on the interstate I wouldn't be able too. So there for I'm leaving the turbo hooked up lol

even if you did rig the maf to the throttle body to run you would kill your turbo,

Makes sense. Guess ill have to stick to 200 miles a tank or so. But what the hell nobody buys an evo for gas mileage anyways

Stop "racing" people on the highway. Your fuel economy will probably be much better.

you should be getting at least 300 miles a tank if you're not running obscene amounts of power. if you aren't, you're driving like a total *** on the freeway
