Dash lights dim after Tt install

Hey I was wondering if someone could help me out. I just installed my apexi turbo timer in to my 04 evo 8 and it all went well. It has the plug n play harness so it popped right in. But now just driving at night I realized all my dash lights like my speedo and rpm gauges are very dark and not bright at all. I checked the brightness adjuster and its all the way up. It also dosent make sense because my boost gauges and radio and a/c and heater lights are still as bright as can be...any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Which harness did you use? It makes a difference with your issue believe it or not.

Okay so I wanted to double check the product code before giving a more definitive answer. The HKS TT harness says MT-6 on it. I used that one for my apexi TT and I had nothing but issues with it. It made my dash lights stay on all the time. It made my car idle flutter while it was "counting down" and the worst part of all is that it made my acd throw the 3 lights with an error code of 65. Code 65 = abs open or shorted wire. What was happening was the acd ecu looks for the abs wire to show 1-5 volts for 30 seconds at start up approxiately then drop off and it should go to zero once the key is taken out and the car is off. This harness was allowing my acd ecu to still "see" voltage on that abs wire even though the car was off technically. It was while the TT was counting down. The car thought it was off since the key was out but the acd ecu was still receiving voltage from the abs signal wire. Lol it took me a LONG time to track down why I was throwing an abs acd trouble code when the abs light wasnt even on in the dash cluster. Stupid TT harness. If you feel you MUST have a TT just hardwire it in or just go without it. You know our turbos are liquid cooled and unless you're constantly beating the crap outta your car it will cool itself down as long as you take it easy for 1-2 minutes before turning the car off anyways.
