The other day i was driving my car and then suddenly when i was approaching a red light i clutched in and braked softly my engine would shut off.. i was wondering what could be the issue. I asked around and they said something about the EFC and to adjust the fuel consumption. something to do with the DEFI controller? oil pressure drops btw.

 

Post all the info you know about the car. Any modification?

What is your oil pressure at cruise and at idle?

 

It is around 20 at idle and 50/60 at cruise

 

That's good pressure then.
Is your car still doing this constantly?
Can you post any log? Long/Short Term Fuel Trim and Throttle Position sensor?

 

mm the engine hasnt shut off again since yesterday... but i only drove it for a short distance, ill see if i can get some logs.. it seems okay after i adjusted the DEFI controller(it was set to all off for some reason instead of 4 cylinders). i did just buy this car like a few weeks ago so im not familar with the Zetronix LCD for AFR, which there is a blue button on the right side which i wonder what it does...

 

Does it start right back up with no issues at all??? Or do you have to crank it a few times?

 

Well that day when it shut off i just turn the key to turn it back on
