Is this too much OIL? with PICS

Im an idiot, didnt seal the oil filter on right so i did an oil change and most of the oil drained out.
so i fastened it right and put more in

the other day i checked it and it seemed to be low on the dipstick so i added 3/4th a quart more

and now its past the full line

leave it as is, or drain some out from the drain plug ?

nvm, its fine. not worth the trouble to drain some. unless you are really afraid then go ahead and drain a little. dont take the plug all the way out. just crack it till it drips and the keep check i guess.

Its not hard to drain the extra off, but no it will not hurt your car. I have had my level where yours is a few times with no Ill effects.

Don't drain any - I have it on good authority that running above the top mark (up to an extra quart) on the dipstick is desirable on these cars...

that is fine, turbo car tend to burn oil naturally. In 1.5k-2k miles it will prob be at the full mark.

Fine, I usually put in extra oil if i'm doing a track day (circuit) about the amount you have on your dip stick.
