Unless you were able to keep tension on the belt I believe you will need to retime the entire thing.

When I pulled my head I ziptied the gears to the belt and kept the tension on it and I didnt have to retime the entire engine.

In your case it sounds like you completely removed the gears so I'd guess that you will need to redo it.

your balance shaft sprocket needs to be aligned with timing marks along with the oil sprocket and crankshaft.

Keep in mind that their are two balance shafts, and the alignment marks are not always correct. Best thing to do is either folllow the vid or take off the down pipe and take off the bolt in the block.. Stick a long screwdriver and check it is centered correctly. IF NOT DONE CORRECT your engine will vibrate very harshly at 3000 rpm.

dont need take off balance shaft inspection bolt. twist the oil sprocket clockwise of the timing mark and let go, if it returns back (counterclockwise) you're good. if not, turn the sprocket 360. and do the step again, it should return back to the mark

You should have lined everything up before taking the belt off.. and like others have said - Zip tie the cams together with the belt on. Goodluck though.
