One sweet car
I hope the EVO VIII won't be too watered down from what I have read in this thread, as opposed to the EVO VII. Since I am only 19 and am far from the amount of money that must be fronted for the EVO VII from E.I., I will work on paying off my Mirage as fast as possible and selling it and putting that money down for an EVO VII or VIII. Reading this post and browsing around various topics I am quite intrigued into purchasing one. You can see me around www.mirageforums.com alot, and from what it seems you'll see me here too now.
Does this guy know something that we don't?

Ummm, bring him to the Evo forum, why would he be "advertising" this information ona site that isn't a DAMN Evolution/Lancer site. I bet its all somethign within the the Company. I dunno I'm looking into too many conspiracies here.
Quess you guys dont know anything about marketing.Evolution Imports is advertising there cars on ebay.even if they arent making the reserve price, its all a matter of getting exposure. When you have a new company you have to get as much exposure as you can.And what site on the internet that you have millions of people world wild loging on?NO OTHER THEN EBAY!!

He is also exporting parts right now for the 350z guys from Japan.
Im taking a serious look at that car right now, as in a race yesterday in Australia, it had the 5th fastest lap time during a 24 hour race, and was faster than all the M3, STI and EVO's.

Respect
Yeah Im not saying it is all around a better car or anything, and who knows the experiece of the drivers. However, it at least was a good enough result to perk my interest, and it also beat other cars geared more toward that track. I would never expect the Z to beat the GT3's yet, especially as new as it is.
I am betting the Z's better aerodynamics help it greatly though at higher speeds, because it is certainly giving up hp to those other cars.
I am still leaning toward EVO, just because it is all around better out of the gate, and has more potential (I should say easy potential), and I can take my whole family in it (Cant take my 7 week old kid in a Z)

sorry "tearitupsports" but it looks like we were both wrong but fortunately your worse off than me.
Quote: "I was one of the pit crew for the 350Z, the best lap time was 2.36.9 done in the early hours of the morning"
Fastest Evo Lap Time
EVO VIII - 2:30.7297
350Z Time - 2.36.9
I took my time directly from the results page.
NISSAN 350Z 5 436 22:13:23.8552 2:24.6303 88
MITSUBISHI EVO VII 5 387 20:12:55.7200 2:30.7297 235
Of course the results could be wrong.
Even with 2:36 it wouldnt be that bad of a performance. I still think the EVO should be a better car, especially stock.
The EVO is definitely "One Sweet Car" (staying on topic).
