evosoon, do you know what that company would charge for shipping vehicles over? 8-11 days is fast! If EI could use this carrier the cars would be here much faster

I called their office in LA few months ago I was quoted $1200 insured from Japan to Long Beach CA. 8-11 days is pretty standard for shippment from Japanese port to CA. By the way this is the same company BMW use for euro delivery. Hope this help

Since E.I. buys their autos from Global Performance, based in Europe, the cars must go through Europe first. So the cars take the long way around the world to get to California. AFAIK, the route is from Japan to rotterdam in the netherlands, then across the atlantic through the panama canal and to california. This route takes a couple months.

I guess you will have to find out when Erikgj and WRCforever post pictures on their cars but i doubt that will happen any time soon, because I would be driving mine every where when I get it.
