One sweet car
I'm looking more for a throaty sound, not too high piched more agggressive low tone. Also I'm guessing you are getting the ecu reprogrammed to get the car a little bit more tuned. I'm jsut wondering if the cars are actually tuned on the fly, or are just assuming the fuel, and ignition curves. Isn't 60 mm around 2.5", taht would mean the the cat is clsoe to 2.7, barely though. That doesn't sound good to me at all. I might try to contact this company called Hytech who makes headers adn exhaust for some cart racers. He is known for making a complete hybrid header exhaust for the Type R taht puts out 25 hp alone! Its some amazing stuff that that guy can do, anyways, if i find any inof, ill let you guys know. But its veyr pricey so watch out, the full exhaust setup for teh ITR was 2,500 so ya. But you need to investigate that whole exhaust issue, any deviation in I.D. really adds to loss in HP. My brother actually has a 3 in custom exhaust, but the cats are still really small. This makes me wonder why do people get such big exhuast sizes and forget to adjust the cat, having so many abrubrt changes really hurts the performance! (having 3in exhuast +60mm cat=retarded thinking)

YouNVThis,
Are you talking about the blue evo featured at the start
of this thread? If so, then I hate to tell you this, but
it's mine :-) And yes various sites around the net have
linked to this post.

Rich W in the UK has a nice Evo web page for his 6. this page from his site descibes a modification to his Blitz exhaust that is similar to what I am planning.
His site also has a step by step intallation notes for the fuel pump upgrade.
