List of concerning concerns...

What's up all. The the other night I was driving and realized that my headlights were aimed low. So I raised then up and noticed that they were dancing. Either I'm really stupid or something but I couldn't find anything on the lights moving up and down. No learned how to adjust them though. Haha. Here's a video of what I mean.

And one more thing, my old HKS SSQV was leaking. The gate wasn't closing to seat. So purchased a used HKS type 2 racing BOV. I've only owned 3 BOVs in my life... All HKS SSQV 1-4 blitz, and sard. Now the type 2. The sound it's making doesn't sound right. I've only gone on a test drive and that cars been sitting...so before i take it out I just want to make sure it's okay to drive. I'm thinking its turbo flutter which is okay...from what I've read and been told. If its compressor surge then....I'll
Put the old SSQV because all it needed was a little PMS/maintenance.

Well first off, since you are running the stock maf and not speed density, you probably want to recirculate the bov. Also I think the spring is too tight on the bov, it sounds like its not opening all the way.

As far as your lighting issue, its possible you could have an issue with the headlight height adjustment switch or something in the drivers side headlamp itself because it looks like its trying to set the projectors higher but getting stuck when trying to adjust.

i dont have a stock BOV. The HKS SSQV came with it...so i got the Type 2. Is that compressor surge? or is that normal? its not very loud...and i was told its pretty loud. Ive had a few in my time....couple SSQVs, and blitz...sard, and my old ARC bov. all in which were pretty loud. Thanks for the help. i just want to know if the fluttering sound is okay...

It sounds like compressor surge to me, I haven't ever owned a hks, but I'm pretty sure you can pull or change springs inside it to loosen it up if there is no adjustment.
