While I certainly am not going to pretend that the US has tracks like they do in Europe, there are still plenty of race tracks within reasonable distances?

It's always shocking to me how few Evo's see track time, or even HPDEs, or driving schools on the track.

OP what was your time? I know you weren't pushing, I'm just curious.

I did it in a little over 12:35-13min min but it was only the Nordschleife side I believe. They don't open up the other side of the track (Think its an extra 2 miles) on tourist days. I wasn't going fast either so I could see if I was a good driver getting into the low 10's or maybe mid 9's. Its hard though because so many cars are on the track and your supposed to stay to the right if your slower to allow others to pass so you can't get into the correct paths you should be all the time.

Also I just picked up my Evo like 3 weeks ago. It needs a tune and the clutch sucks!

JM Fabrications O2 housing external dump
Tanabe GF210 lowering springs

I need to do this for next time I had one of my boss's with me (he has a STI, BOO!). He knows the track pretty good and was coaching me but still was scared

Now it sucks going through all the links: http://www.ringportal.nl/en/photography trying to find my car!

It's the best way to learn it. You can learn braking zones, where, when, how hard to accelerate, the pitch and angle of turns. I'm sure it would greatly inspire confidence knowing what turn is coming up next.
