please help!!!!!

please help!!!!!

Hi new to forum Not sure if I should be posting but here but im in need of help!
I brought a evo 5 in white looks in great condition drove it 120 miles from were I brought it.
It ran fine that was 2 weeks ago have wanted I evo for 14 years, now I have one but it has just started miss firing!! I changed spark plugs and it started miss firing put thre old plugs back in still miss firing brought new coil and leads still missfiring any ideas? ?

check the injectors as well. the wires and spark plugs were a good start, also you could always plug in a code reader to see if a code pops up. is the check engine light on?

What kind of plugs, and what did you gap them to? Don't know much about Evo V, but these motors are pretty sensitive to brand/material of plugs and gap.

You need to explain better. It misfires at idle? It misfires at wot? If you put the correct plugs in and gapped them correctly then it either needs to be retuned or you have a boost/vac leak. Jeeze.

As already mentioned check the spark gap, coils etc etc. Thats a really bice first evo throw on a wideband afr and see what your afrs are at idle and wot should be between 14.7-15.3 at idle and 10.3 to 11.7 at wot depending.
