I bet the wing is missing to keep the car at a low profile when testing. That wing stands out. Well, it wasn't low profile enough. They also removed the badging and put black tape on the tail lights.

If you compare this picture of the 7 and the one of the 8 up top from Autoweek, you can see that the seats look very similar. They are both very high and come to kind of a point. Could this mean we might be getting the Recaros?

 

as much as I'd like to think they are recaros, and I think we'll get them, I think you're reaching making that deduction.. it looks like a highback seat, which 95% of cars nowdays have.

 

body styling has def. changed...lines are way different, VIII looks more like US lancer that VII Evo.....also the hood scoop is different.....not bad, just different

 

Tru, but what cars have that aftermarket rounded head rest look? I do have a 22" monitor here so maybe I can see the picture slightly more detailed.

 

My M3 does! But then again i can't think of any other car that has that round look. Evo VII?

If you have a bigger monitor then you probly run a higher resolution so actualy the exact same picture will look sharper but smaller on a bigger monitor... I have a 19 in. running 1280 x 1024 and its tiny when i lower the resolution everything gets bigger including the picture and I agree the seats look very similer.

P.S. despite all the evo 8 bashing ive been doing here I am starting to like the rounder evo... just takes time i guess.
