i just bought my evo yesterday and the guy says the sunroof wont work, the motor turns but no movement, its not in the sealed postion and i want to know if there is a way to put it in the seal position until i can fix it, i dont want any water leaking into my car

 

I don't want to give you wrong info but most cars usually have some sort of panel by the sun roof controls where you can manually close the sun roof with a allen key. Did you look in your owners manual ?

i can push the sunroof up and it will sit flush but i dont think it will stay that way with road vibrations

 

If it sits flush it shouldn't leak but you should buy the whole sunroof setup incase it's just not the motor

omg thank you, i was about to go in blind tomorrow morning and hope that it didnt take all day, but now it looks like it will only take about 2-3 hours, thank you again ill update when its fixed

yeah i got it all fixed, 2 of the 3 bolts came out of the motor and the 3rd bolt was super loose, so put some locktight on there and put everything back and now works like a charm, and my friend and i did the whole thing in about an hour, thanks for the help guys
