okay so i have a 2003 evo thats on 26 pounds of boost, 950cc injectors and its tuned but when i am in idle it likes to bog out and the oil light flutters when its bogging but if i dont hit the gas it dies out but it starts right back up please someone help im stumped i have been told by a few people that i need to get an aftermarket mass air flow

 

your oil light is most likely just because your oil pump isnt spinning fast anough to produce enough oil pressure when you are bogging out. whats your afr doing when this happens? it could be a vacuum leak, as well as an iacv. is your idle surging? if so, you need to park it with evoscan and adjust the biss properly to the target idle rpm in the rom. i would start doing a boost leak test 1st though and try to find a leak

 

^^^ what hes said sounds like a vacuum leak but with out more information its hard to pin point
