Forced performance Fp black lead / delivery time?

Just curious for those of you who bought an fp black from forced performance what the lead time / delivery time was. I just bought one yesterday and they said two to three weeks.

Thanks for your input

Update: There seems to be some confusion on what information I'm actually seeking. I'm not curious about my delivery / lead time; I already know it is going to be 2-3 weeks. What I'm looking for is if you have bought an FP turbo, what your lead / delivery time was. Sorry for any confusion and thank you for your input.

When i say delivery / lead time, im referring to the time between order placed and reciept of your product. Say you order turbo on 1/1/13 and it shows up 2/1/13; the delivery / lead time is four weeks.

The point of this thread is to give future people an idea of average build times for their turbos. I had no idea I would have to wait 2-3 weeks to have mine built until I talked to them on the phone to buy it.

Mine took approx 3 weeks till it was delivered. I was told they were awaiting MHI cores to come in before it could be built.

Don't know about your Black or if FP is ***** to the wall in production these days. I'm sure they're under promising and over delivering than the other way around. Back when I bought my Red I was a little bummed that I was quoted a long lead time but very happy when it showed up early. Stay Calm and Enjoy Your Black when you get it.

My FP green was originally 2-3 weeks out but my builder contacted them to confirm and was told that it would now be an additional 2 weeks (They stated delay was due to ball bearings on back order). Order was originally placed on 10-1. As a result we had to punt and are completing build sans turbos, injectors and will do 500 mi break-in while waitin for order since this is my DD. Been out if my car since last week in September.

I bought my fp red two months ago. And I talked to them on the phone and asked if there was anyway to get it quicker. They charged me a extra 150 or 175 I believe. And I had it overnighted. Ordered on a Thursday and had the following Monday. Its not the build time that takes so long for you to get it. Its the fact that there are so many orders. And they process them in order. I believe the lady I talked.to said it takes a couple hours to put together. For a extra 175 it was worth it.
