However due to some unexpected demand that we couldn't forecast along with some supply chain issues we've been trending a little longer. I just received parts enough to do 16 units and now the oldest PO's are a couple weeks old and more parts should be arriving soon and another batch being made.

So that being said the quickest way to get a BB EVO 9 turbo is to order one. If there's not a PO in the system when I forecast my need it's a good chance that I'll have my extra turbos sold before I have them finished.

Good read plus one for fp! I've always been about two weeks out or so ..

Fyi doesnt come with crush washers for coolant lines, or gaskets for oil return/ jpipe. You also must reuse oem coolant lines, j pipe, and oil drain pipe. I was unaware of this and told over the phone it would come with everything needed for install. Just a heads up for everyone else. Order your gaskets and crush washers ahead of time so you dont have to scramble at the last minute.

"Take your stinking paws off me, you damn dirty ape!"

The build resumes and should be completed by the end of this week!

Thanks Michael and FP team, I can appreciate the supply chain challenges - we stuck it out for the FP goodness.

Update: There seems to be some confusion on what information I'm actually seeking. I'm not curious about my delivery / lead time; I already know it is going to be 2-3 weeks. What I'm looking for is if you have bought an FP turbo, what your lead / delivery time was. Sorry for any confusion and thank you for your input.

When i say delivery / lead time, im referring to the time between order placed and reciept of your product. Say you order turbo on 1/1/13 and it shows up 2/1/13; the delivery / lead time is four weeks.

The point of this thread is to give future people an idea of average build times for their turbos. I had no idea I would have to wait 2-3 weeks to have mine built until I talked to them on the phone to buy it.
Bought my Red knowing it would take at least 2/3 weeks, I'm at week 6 with a guestimation of 1-3 more weeks. Can't even be mad if I knew about it coming in.

Date Purchased: 12/24/13
Delivery: TBD.

Wow, starting to look like a systemic supply chain (production?) issue. When I ordered mine I heard (granted second hand through my builder) that it was the ball bearings being on back order that were the issue. If still true, looks like I may go into the ball bearing business and retire early.
