Rear Wing?
Take the wing off. I think the evo looks more aggressive without it but doesn't draw attention from the man. Wing and loud muffler= pulled over
I took mine off and it was one of the best mods I did. I used small circular decals I bought from a local vinyl/graphics guy.
You will need a piece of fishing line to cut thru the tape once you unbolt it. You can always put it back on if you need/want to.

I think its funny how everyone says the wing gets you pulled over ! no it doesnt ! your dumb driving and loud exhaust does. About a year ago i got pulled over for doing 80 on the freeway and i asked the cop cuz he was being really cool cuz he coukd of gave me a ticket for way more things, but anyways i asked him if the big wing makes him or cops pull people over and he said no he never heard of that. He said the exhaust ya they pull you over all day for that but not for a wing. Case closed on that lol. But back to the topic i personally love both looks, but I love the stock wing look more and that's why I kept mine. Aventually I want to buy a carbon do luck trunk so whenever I want to go wingless ill just swap it and go back and forth and how I feel. But the stock wing just fits the car so much it looks like a Evo when it's on. Specially with Jdm rear, I love looking at the rear of my car it looks sexy lol !!
I removed my wing for a cosmetic change. Not to ward off cops or attention. I love it off. I'll probably put it back on once I get a new set of wheels. In the mean time, I found a cool looking painted trunk lip spoiler I'll be putting on instead for cheap.

BTW, this trunk lip spoiler fits perfectly on our trunks (even though it says Galant).
I never had any trouble with attracting too much attention from police. I went wingless for a while, having acquired a carbon-fiber Do-Luck trunk. It was cool because it was a change, and I kept it on for around nine months or so, but when I put my stock trunk and wing back on, I really missed the look. The wingless look got kind of boring. It looks better on lowered cars though, while mine was still riding on stock suspension.
I'd describe wingless more as "less unprofessional" than "more professional," since in either scenario, you're dealing with a Mitsubishi, and not a Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series where you were trying to figure out whether or not you wanted the factory wing because of how serious you want people to take you.

A wing on any car no matter the brand, kinda screams unprofessional. If I was after the professional look I would not be looking at getting an Evo.
