Transmission freeze plug size?

Reinstalled my transmission yesterday and can't seem to find the metal freeze plug on the trans to pop out the TOB. On Extremepsi it shows two sizes, 35mm and 40mm, but lists them as engine block. Would one of these fit or know where I can purchase the transmission freeze plug?

Are you talking about the rubber plugs for inspection holes? Transmission doesn't use coolant so why the need for "freeze" plug?

There is a small metal plug in the TOB shaft removal hole.

I've been trying to find this thing as well but STM couldn't identify an associated mitsu part number either.

The manual seems to refer to it as a 'sealing cap' but the OP is right in that it's shaped like a small freeze plug.

Sorry about that, it looks like a freeze plug made of metal, not rubber (no clue what it was actually called until now). Thanks, I guess it's considered a "sealing cap". I'll search around more for this and see what I come up with. Closest Mitsubishi dealership is almost 2 hours away, so would prefer to order it.
that was easy:

Thanks again for the correct part name
sorry, another edit, part is 7.95...shipping 14.50. guess I'll look around or buy more things

Oh. Yeah. It does look like a "plug" instead of a "cap". I have one in my spare 5-spd that you could have for free. It's in Alabama though. :}
