I would get a nice set of 1000-1200 cc injectors so you have room to grow down the road. If you get a good tune with someone that knows what there doing , you want have any issues with idling and running poorly. The car should run as if it were stock except it will be faster. I think some fic's or injector dynamics are some good ones but there are others. good luck

Because he'll run out of fuel. Also need a fuel pump.

He will only run out of fuel depending on what boost he's running. A fuel pump and a rewire may be enough. OP, what boost are you planning on running? Do you think you need injectors or are you just planning for the future?

OP, what kind of fuel?

I'd be shocked if he didn't run out of fuel. He's going to be running S2's. I'm assuming he going to be running at least 25-27psi. Maybe he's going to run 20psi and keep it under 6500 rpm's and he'll be fine. Seems like a waste of cams to me.

^ Good point. Based on the listed mods being only an exhaust and intake I figured he doesn't have much else done as far as supporting mods. We will have to wait to get more details before a proper recommendation.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but will stock injectors be sufficient for stock turbo and just a turbo back exhaust; we're talking 22-24psi max on 93 octane.

If Op will hold 19psi to the red line his duty cycle will be in mid 90's.so what's wrong with that?

Maybe. I'm running 23psi, dropping to 20psi @ 6500rpm, and down to 18psi @7000rpm. I'm in the low 90s duty cycle around 7000 rpm, which was when it was 100°F out. With that same tune I was running almost one full AFR point leaner once the temps dropped to 70°. Ideally you don't take injectors past 80% as the spray pattern can break up.

My mods are intake, short route FMIC, Evo 9 DV, Grimmspeed 3-port, MAP 02 housing, QTP downpipe w/ cutout, Deatschwerks 200 fuel pump (not rewired).

I was going to agree but the fact that he will be adding s2's he going to need a little more fuel up top but we also know that the 8 turbo isn't going to hold a lot of boost up top either . I would just upgrade to a bigger injector and be done with it for future modding.

i have intake, exhaust, intercooler, 24psi road race tune (target no higher than 11.5 AFR) and im logging 104% IDC starting at about 6800 rpm.

so yes, stock turbo can run out of stock injector.
