Removing EGT.....

Hey guys, I want to remove my egt and was wondering what I should use to plug hole on manifold....any tips? Thnx

I used a SS plug from Jegs that has the same thread pitch/size. I used a high temp thread sealer on the 2nd plug. The first rattled out and created a huge exhaust leak.

Btw, I thought of welding it too, but in case I wanted to use it again, which I did, it was there.
Why are you taking it out?

wow....that sucks! wasnt expecting to hear that....just want to remove for a cleaner look.....just boost gauge
