Not necessarily. I bought mine from here with 66k miles and it was bone stock. I even searched all the previous owner's posts and found no record of any mods. And, nobody in their right mind would spin every intake/intercooler clamp to be in the most unreachable rotation possible. Only those sadists at Mitsubishi would do such a thing.

As others have said, 30k hard miles are way worse than 120k properly maintained miles.

Any vehicle that is maintained regardless of make will go way past 200k miles. The key is always maintenance.

There's a floating pill and spring in the clutch line that varies the flow rate of hydraulic fluid based on fluid pressure. It's supposed to prevent a situation where drivetrain parts are shocked and broken, or the clutch fork popping off, by unfortunate clutch engagement situations.

Removing it makes the clutch engagement much more predictable, and the car is easier and more fun to drive overall. I love it. Also you won't slip or burn the clutch as much so the clutch lasts longer. It was something mitsubishi added to try to reduce warranty claims from people launching and breaking things, but I don't drag it so I don't care. It may also have something to do with oem evo clutches being notorious for a short life.

It's nice to see that there's still stock Evo's out there! Makes me really want to scoop up a stock one and daily it.

But most people still holding onto stock Evos likely:

1. Aren't selling, unless it's for a nice chunk of change or an emergency needing the money.
2. Aren't selling anytime soon.
3. Aren't selling, period.

That's quite a find. What are they selling it for? And how are you able to verify that it's 100% bone stock?

Im not exactly sure why he was selling it because i rescued her from a used car lot. Although i did find delinquency notice's from his insurance crumpled up by the spare tire.

I spent a good 30-45 min meticulously looking at every single bolt & clip within reason for tool marks. There was no hardware missing anywhere. I was also the one that broke the stock air box while removing the MAF nuts from the inside so i know it was never reinstalled prior to selling the car [=

Nice. Good find. Unfortunately, everyone will think that they will find the same kind of car now because you did, haha.
