I love it, i went from a 2000 civic si turbo to this so its a huge difference. I love the handling with the awd. I wanna lower it too so i can get a little bit stiffer handling

I bought mine stock in March of this year from the original owner. If you're thinking of light mods but unsure of what to do, read these:

I still have a bone stock Evo IX SE... bought brand new in February 2007. Not a single mod, and I think I'm somewhere between 65-66k miles now. I'm glad that I did that, since I appreciate the car for what it is and am still surprised by its performance (since I drive like a regular person, and not going WOT at every opportunity), and it's been plenty reliable.

So you guys aren't frustrated by the stock clutch engaging unpredictably? It drove me nuts.

It doesn't bug me enough to make me want to do something about it. But it just takes some adjustments, since even wearing a different pair of shoes requires me to recalibrate my footwork haha.

In September I installed another stock clutch, the disc and cover both had the Mitsubishi diamonds. Well, its not the same clutch the car came with new - it is much better, smooth as butter. So Mitsubishi must have noted how well the OEM clutch was received.

I keep hearing about a pill delete for the stock clutch, now what would this do exactly?

I am the original owner of a 2003 Evo 8. With the exception of a drop-in K&N air filter, it is all stock with 80K miles.

Everyone says such and such car doesn't do well over 100k. If maintained properly you shouldnt have any problems.
