Just picked up my new apex silver Evo sunroff and high wing last night. I thought I would really miss my eclipse, but it really is no contest. When you take it up to 5 grand at half throttle and it blows my mind the power!!! I also have a 95 supercharged Mustang GT and I think it would be a good fight. Cant wait till I can really lay on it!!! I am officially in the club.

I too traded in my 2000 Eclipse GS for the EVO and I do miss the smoothness of the Eclipse, but even after I put on a strut tower brace I still couldn't handle like the EVO. And the power...just awsome!

I'd be curious to know how many people traded in their eclipses on an EVO...

 

my son would LIKE to trade his modded- 2000 Eclipse GT for my Evo...but no deal!.....hehhehheh....he'll have to get his own!

I had an 01' eclipse GS... traded it for the Evo and man, what a difference!!! The eclipse was a good car though, but the Evo is a million times more fun!

i had a heavily modded 2000gt, turboed and all (turbo didnt last long, blew a couple of motors). And I have to be honest i miss it, but i love my EVO! I miss the rumble of the v6, and the torque down low, it was a badass looking car lowered with rims.
