As the title says can these transponders go bad? Every now and then my car won't crank. Voltage is good, you can hear the fuel pump come on but just won't start at times. I pull the key out, bang on the key and that does it or really shove the key into the ignition, or sometimes just pulling it out and waiting a few minutes will do the trick. One set got lost so cant confirm with it. Any ideas?
