On the universal one does it have the same amount of wires and colors on the wires ? If so maybe you can cut off your plug on the plug and play one and splice and solder to the wiring of the universal unit.

You payed $400 for a universal one ? Why did you go with the universal instead of the one for your car , there about the same price. I think I payed $450 for mine about 5 years ago. So your saying the plug on the actual box is different or the ones that plug to the coils? I took a look at my old shot unit and it does seem that it can be taken apart so you can pin in new wires.

My friend HKs is no longer at USa. So nobody has it here. i ordered from several website and the finish refunding my money. So univ is my only way. On the plug speaking, its different on the box. If I could get a diagram for the universal one will be great. It has 6 yellow cables, 1 red (+) and 1 black(-). Same thing on my evo HKS harneSs. Dont know what is each cable 😞

Cop doesnt last that long on hot weather. hKs has longer life and I have seen evo here with 1,000 whp using them on the streets.
