Help! Compressor surge!

Help! Compressor surge!

First day taking it to the track after upgrading with..

GSC S2 cams
dbb FP Black
ported im
ported exh mani
buschur 3" TBE
MAP o2 eliminator DP
3.5 ETS FMIC
buschur uicp and licp
1200cc incejtors,

Surges during acceleration then partial throttle over 10psi.. below 10 PSI the BOV just vents till it get to 0

example: accelerating on highway and then holding throttle to maintain speed.. then comp surge.. forces me to upshift right away

what should i check?

Mine did that when my BOV developed a tear in the diaphragm.

my BOV still vents.. its HKS btw.. was your BOV completely shut?

BOV still vents? what do you mean by that.

my synapse did that when the spring was too stiff so instead of holding open (say uphill at 2500rpm in 5th) it would bounce between open and closed and sound like that

swapped my BOV to a Tial, still acts the same, so its not the BOV. Help

Mines been doing that lately in 6th at partial throttle. I'm interested in knowing if anybody has an solution too. I was about to replace my stock BOV thinking that was the problem

bump help, someone suggested wastegate surge.. so i preloaded the wga 3 turns.. and still the same...

I just bought the car so I haven't really done anything yet to try and figure it out. It sure is annoying though!

Put the stock recirc valve back on and tell us what it does or install a lighter spring in the tial.
