I acutally think the 8 seats hug me a little more than my 9 seats. Both are uncomfortable though lol.

I think it mainly has to do with no lumbar support. Even just a little would be better, an adjustable lumbar would be amazing! haha

First day I drove my evo home (9 seats), it was maybe a 2+ hr drive back and I got a pretty bad back pain. Had to get out for gas and stretch a few. Haven't sat in a 10 for a long period but I have been in 8 seats and they seem better but they also hugged me much more.

Sat in both 8/9 seats for 7hrs and trust me they aren't comfy. I've been looking for a seat for a few months now. I've actually liked cobreau cypher seats. Still want something more softer on the buns/back. But good luck in ur search.

i have the nrg carbon seats in my car.
i was surprised how comfortable they are for 1 piece fixed positions. i have them slightly reclined with the mounting holes. i love em. not sure on how they would perform in a bad situation though.... they do seem solid though.

I have heard a lot of good things about the NRGs as well. I am just skeptical of the no recline option. Not that I sit all gangster style or anything lol

tbh i thought i was going to get tired of it. but the position that i have it in is fantastic. i don't need to go any further down or up. although getting into and out of the nrg is a bit annoying sometimes. but thats what you get for fixed seats

i have an x mr as well and i think that the nrg is still comfortable.
x seats vs nrg comfort? i haven't made a verdict on that yet.

i would recommend them

I had to replace my IX seats with genuine Recaro sports after a theft.

they did the job for an 11 hour drive to the tail of the dragon, was still a little uncomfortable near the end but not in pain. being able to adjust thigh and lumbar support helped for sure.

My wife, who is generally opposed to anything smacking of speed, acceleration, cornering, loves the seats in my IX.

Helps that she is about 5'2" and small.

Why are you driving 10 hours regularly? In an evo?

Cool story bro, maybe buy a more comfortable perfomance car if youre going to be driving a lot. I cant stand to drive mine for more than an hour one way.

I think what he was trying to say was evos were not made to drive long distance with the comfort of a Lexus. Why not have another car for that?
