IX seats are killing me
If you actually have time to notice that your seat is uncomfortable, then you aren't driving fast enough.
Srsly though, I'm on my 3rd EVO (2nd EVO IX MR) and I've done many many many road trips in this car and my first EVO IX, and I don't have any issues with the seats. The longest was a trip to florida that was about 12 hours, but I've made that trip more than once and it wasn't too bad. I'll admit my 335i was a lot better for those types of trips, but the EVO has never been unbearable. Like someone else suggested, you may want to get a more comfortable beater, and something better on gas for the long trips, or look to after market seats/cushions.
