I just had a new clutch installed in my car and the engagement seems way too close to the floor. Is this bad? I plan on doing the clutch drag test but haven't found the link to it. Thanks

No, as long as it isn't dragging you will be OK. Personally for me this is the way I like it set up on my car because if you use two step launch, as soon as the switch is disengaged the clutch is already grabbing or right after..

Drag test is easy.. Find flat, level ground, 1st gear with clutch fully in and gradually increase throttle until you hit 2-step. Car shouldn't creep forward. You can be even more thorough by disabling 2-step temporarily to allow you to rev up to 7k.

Make sure the clutch was bled properly and there is no air in the hydraulic system. If that checks out, adjust the CMC rod.

No need to bleed it when replacing the clutch.....Originally Posted by Kracka
