I know I have seen plenty of similar post about this topic but nothing that states exact steps of problems. Has anyone else had this problem.

I unhooked the battery. Reconnect and start the car. It will run fine until I hit the gas. It cuts off. Then ill need to hit the gas just for it to start. And hold my foot on the gas just to let it keep idle. Drives fine until I let off the gas. Anyone had this problem? I read it could be iac valve or maf sensor. Hitting full boost and normal vacuum and af ratio at cruising. If you know what this is I would greatly appreciate it.

 

No issue with the TB? Idle screw wasn't messed with? Not clogged or anything either?

 

SD or MAF? Also do a compression test, my car didn't like to start and cyl.#3 was low and usually but not always low compression will not let the car start correctly. Start by the cheap way, check plugs check compression or leak down test(I prefer leak test) like said above check TB, good luck man and keep us update it so we can also learn for future references.

 

If it is just happening right after you disconnected the battery, it will take some time to relearn idle.
