Just a quick update: Assistant State's attorney called me and asked me for a few more details. She basically told me that I did all the work and the cops just made the arrest

I'm due to testify in Juvenile Court at the end of February.

I currently live in the metro detroit area and have to have spline lugs and a wheellocks to prevent the scumbags sorry man

 

Just killing time at an automotive store yesterday, I spent less than $15 on a set of wheel locks after owning my Evo for 10 years this May. It can happen at any time in less than a minute.

 

Recreation Dr. by Addison is a bad place to park even with wheel locks. ;-)

Yeah, parked there for 2 years with my crappy Celica. No problems.

Park there for a few days in my Evo IX. Wheels disappear.

I learned my lesson.


I'm testifying this Thursday. State's Attorney is planning on charging them as juveniles with misdemeanors since they had no priors. Most likely will be given probation and 50-60 hours of community service.

To be honest, I get paranoid when I park in the city now. I was in the Loop last night watching the Walking Dead at my cousin's apartment when I just felt like my car was going to get jacked/messed with.

Completely irrational but I went home and finished the Walking Dead at my place

 

yeah it's a shame sometimes when you have nice things you can't hardly enjoy it knowing there are scumbags out there trying to steal it, rather than work for it themselves.
