It is a fact the stock tune is rich from the factory. It's perfectly fine to adjust the AFR to be leaner for more power and gas mileage.

Not to be a *****, but based on your questions you need to do some research first. Have you been datalogging or just watching an AFR gauge? What are you going to use to tune it?

I would start reading on Ecuflash. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ecuflash-179/ Lots of information on how to tune and what people run for A/F

Personal, on gas I shoot for 11.1 at Full throttle and 15.5 for cruise. I tend to be super conservative.

I agree also with these suggested afr's, but also keep in mind that when cruising your wideband should be moving around and not stuck on any particular reading so say anywhere from 13.0-15.xx. That shows you your o2 sensor is working good and the ecu is trying to keep the afr's optimal for good fuel economy, rarely do fuel economy and evo go in the same sentence. I know it hard at times to stay out of boost in a evo but if you have a good tune and are light on go pedal they can get respectable mpg. Sorry for going a little off topic in my cruise afr point.

At idle/cruising in vaccum your AFR should average around 14.7. Under boost you'd like it to be mid to low 11's, but on a stock tune you'll be richer than that.

Like said before, a good WOT target AFR is 11.0-11.5:1.Target AFR at idle is 14.7, but I also like it a little leaner, around 15.2:1 or so.

Leaning out the WOT AFR will make the car feel a lot different.
