Evo8 Throttle problem

Hello people, i am facing a problem with my evo8 and would like to know what you guys think of it, My TPS sensor was not working a month back, and i had to replace it with a new one, now the car runs and idles fine but sometime when i drive and press really light on the throttle say accelerating at 1500-2000 Rpm the car jerks very hard but it does not happen everytime, only when i am very soft on the throttle (Thats how i used to drive before the TPS issue happened, never stalled or had this prob), Another symptom i noticed that is say i am driving at 3rd gear and see a stoplight, putting the gear back to neutral causes the ROM to drop below 1000RPM, but this does not happen all the time. No issues when i am pulling the car hard, these happen when i am normally driving the car around. Please help Thanks

When you replaced the tps did you have it calibrated again since it was new?

Is your check engine light on? Is the car modded?

Yeah the issue happened on my way back after i got fp green installed and tuned, engine check was on later the old tps was showing 0% throttle opening at idle, which means its not working , the new tps was calibrated in a rush maybe thats the issue i guess.

There really isnt much in the way of calibration for the tps. It has a little bit of room for adjustment, but i just dont see this being your main problem. If it where me, i would start with a boost leak test and work my way from there.

Thanks for your opinion, will take the car this week for a checkup, but if there was a boost leak i would have RPM drop at a certain gear without putting it back to neutral right? like say i pulled at 3rd till 6k rpm and rather than putting it back to neutral and braking i let go of the throttle to cross a vehcle or something and then accelerate again? theres no problem in the situation mentioned above so i suspect its the tps, lets hope nothing serious.
