Evo is still a lot of car for the money. Realistically expect to pay 22-28K for a clean IX, with mileage affecting the price more than anything.

Thank you for the insight. I've OWNED one and SOLD one before. And I didn't GOUGE people or ask stupid prices. I'm just trying to figure out peoples pricing logic.

Your comment makes no sense. A GTR isn't worth 30K obviously, as an Evo isn't worth 30K. I'm not looking for people to sell one for under what there WORTH. Hence WORTH, not want somebody THINKS its worth.

They want to get back the money they wasted on mods plus their fuel, insurance, and maintenance costs during their ownership haha

I paid 23-24K for my old RR 06 MR with 60K and sold it for 17-18K after putting 40K on it. I didn't sell it for more than its worth. I don't mind paying 23-24 again but these guys asking 26K and up are way off on price. I bought mine in 2010

Why would a seller complain about their own unrealistic pricing?

I have an WW IX RS with 21k on the clock and I would sell it for the right price. A price which I am sure you might think is unreasonable.

Why would you expect me to sell it cheap? Do you think I bought it cheap?
I paid a premium for a rare, clean, low mileage car. I did this in part because I knew I wouldn't be keeping it forever and when I do sell it I expect to get a decent return. I also have put more than $30k into it in the 26 months of ownership. While I don't expect to recoup any of the money I have put into the car I do expect top dollar for my car.
I know there are many others in similar situations here and we have cars that are sought after so I believe the price to buy should be high.

Why do you think KBB or NADA values on VIIIs and IXs have gone up consistently for the last few years?

By Bank and NADA your pristine RS is worth 19.5K in PREFECT condition. I didn't ask anyone to sell it cheap. I'm sorry you paid to much money for yours. It isn't a Ferrari, it's called depreciation.

supply and demand for sure...more and more of the 03-06 evo's are ending up in junkyards now or parted out..sadly. So, finding a good clean low mileage evo will be worth it.

Enthusiast markets affect used car prices differently.

LOL

Yes, the book value isn't near what I would take. Your numbers are a bit off....not that I give a ####.

Oh, BTW I have turned down $30k for it.

Supply and demand!

Happy searching
