OP, just have someone put tephramod on your ecu, allows you to switch between pump and e85 at the push of a button. Its better and cheaper than buying a new engine
I have 235 pound Moran injectors look them up

need more people like you offering help ReaperX how difficult is it too tune for e85 or how about adding cams i have a conservative tune right now but plan on adding cams and they wanna charge me another full tune which i think is bull **** just to add cams?

Thanks man .

E85 takes a different strategy to tune. The limits are certainly different than 93oct. Once you know the safe limits it is no more difficult to WOT tune than any other fuel. The issue a lot of folks that have come to me, and what I see on here, is that there are a lot of WOT tunahs, and not true ecu calibrators. Cold start and drivability issues, anyone worth the amount they charge should have this down.

Honestly if you came to me I would charge full price for tuning with just adding cams. It changes more than you think depending on the cam profile. That is why I suggest to people to get a round of mods done at one time, then tune.

Dear god. ^And yes I agree, I tell every newb this. "Is it okay if I throw an intake/exhaust/mbc on?"......not really lol most guys have no idea how much a tune changes just from a different filter.

Anyone taking bets on how long the OPs rods stay inside his block? Not interested in dual maps, doesn't understand anything about the fuel types, thinks tuning the car for new parts is bull****... why do you have an Evo again?

Jesus with the misinformation.

The hing isnt gnna pop if you stay out of boost, but its no going to run right. Its going to be sloppy rich, so the answer is still n don do it.

The real answer is mntioned, get a proper tun that does more than make pawr. Cold start and idle can be adjusted so th car drives damn near stock. Just lazy tune.

Depending on how your tuner set the car up you could be okay to run on 93 with an e85 map out of boost, itll b very rich and won aid the issues you have though. Thas like a "i dont hav the lap top and no where near e85 station" scenario though.

And th way your tune sounds means no. Get a proper tune.

Its not misinformation...the potential for blowing your car up is real.

Exactly.

Look at the people who have responded and then their cars. You should get a fairly clear idea of who knows wtf they are talking about.

Exactly....and for someone to ask the question if they can run pump on their E85 tune, I wouldn't expect they are asking and not expecting to boost.

No... it is information. Run pump gas at a scaling meant for e85, if they are large enough injectors it'll eventually wash the walls of the cylinders and self install a window. The ECU will have a very difficult time compensating during idle and cruise, and will further complicate the problem.

OP you should probably listen to the guy with 27 posts who doesn't know how to type who says its okay to put 93 in your car. Definitely ignore the people with 4000 plus who are telling you otherwise.
