Can I pump Premium to my E85 setup?

So right now I have my car tuned for E85. What happens if I run premium through it? Problem is on E85 car is having hard cold starts and tries to stall out when I stop at a light. Before I switched to E85 I did not have this problem. I am not interested in a dual map or any adjustments to the tune. It's a simple what happens if I switch to premium. I don't plan on racing it on premium just to daily drive it.

The lower the ethanol content, the richer it will run. Your cold start issue is not having enough fuel, you go too far the other way by lowering the ethanol content and it will be too much fuel for start up. Easiest and best fix is to have the tune adjusted. I can help you with that if you'd like (just offering even though you said you don't want to tweak the tune).

No you can't. You're car even at idle will run super rich. Like somewhere in the 12-13 Afr range at all times.

My car has these problems as well but it only runs on premium. Really cold starts are terrible and I have to keep the rpms at about 2500 for about 30 seconds after start or it stalls out. I run 93 octane on mine and it also runs low at lights. My car is running too rich and gives me that CEL all the time.

you can drive it out of boost but you will need a new motor. Adjust tune/idle? My car idles slightly higher then normal when I E85.

No you can't. By running e85 you are able to pull more timing but by adding premium the car will be trying to pull the same amount of timing but on a lower octane fuel

Just go pick up a AEM V2 or Infinity EMS and get a flex fuel setup. Then you can mix the two fuels together all day and be worry free.

OP doesn't understand different fuels, or even interested in compromising. I think a true solution is out of the question.

plus i assume you have bigger injectors driving on e85 map with regular fuel you might wash out cylinder walls.

No you dont.

OP, just have someone put tephramod on your ecu, allows you to switch between pump and e85 at the push of a button. Its better and cheaper than buying a new engine
