What would you do?

I was gonna sell my '03 Evo 8, but my motor I think is about to blow.

My dilemma is, the offers I've gotten are not enough to rebuild the motor and make a profit. So now I'm thinking about keeping it.

My question is, what would you do if you had 15-20K to spend on your Evo, knowing part of that has to go to a new motor?

Why can't you sell it as it is… with 15 - 20k… I'm assuming you could buy a 2nd hand IX?

With 20k you could rebuild the motor and build everything else along with the motor easily qith money to spare. Thats a lot of coin

You should just rebuild the engine before you throw a rod threw the block it will be much cheaper without needing a new block

Sell it priced with blown motor
Buy a close to stock 9.
I guess this depends on you. Everyone has different opinions.
I've seen tons of people put tons of money to rebuild only to sell or garage it.

Please don't be a typical underhanded used car seller and sell a car with a known engine issue and not say anything.

Karma is a *****.

I'd get a 9 but thats just me.

That's a lot of money - Plenty for a rebuild. Don't wait until it is fully exploded.

Lol never! That's why I said I'm keeping it now. I think I'm gonna build a stroker, get a cbrd turbo, new cams, fic 1600 inj, and ALOT of other fun stuff!
