With the car off gently squeeze the rubber coolant hoses. Rudimentary way of sourcing the leak. Chances are you have hairline break which looks sealed but cracks open when under pressure. My water feed line had the same exact problem. Good luck.

also, any coolant around where the hoses connect? they like to have issues there, too.

Check all the connections in your cooling loop. Picture #1 shows some coolant sitting on a coupler. Hopefully it is something as simple as a loose clamp.

Looks like its coming from here this hose. I think the oil feed like dug a hole in the side of the rubber tube. Anyone know what is called so I can get a replacement?:




or this metal housing on the side of the block, thermostat housing?:

i wish i could see pics.. so it's your lower radiator hose? it goes from the driver side of the engine to the bottom of the radiator?

No clue on the hose name. I went to an Autozone and asked for a equivalent hose of the same inner diameter that is safe for coolant.

Ended up being that coupling on the coolant feed line to the turbo. Thanks for all the help gentlemen. Much appreciated.
