You should stick with a walbro 255 unless you really want to change your FPR. If you are set on the aeromotive and want advice for an afpr I would say go with STM's kit. It's well priced and comes with a fuelab fpr and everything you need to install it. You can order it with a "mini fpr" version like I did for like $10 more and the new afpr will bolt up nicely on the firewall since its small in size. If you do decide to do this and you are going to install it do yourself a favor and order some -an adjustable wrenches from Summit or some place or else you will scratch the hell out of the fittings with normal wrenches and it will look like crap. Good luck man, let us know what you decide to do, now you've got me interested.

well does it HAVE to be Walbro?

i mean.. i was actually thinking of the SARD or HKS 255L instead…
reputable brands… i just don't want the noise… it will no doubt irritate me.

so im assuming at 255L flow rate, a Harness as well as FPR is not required.

No fpr or harness is needed for a 255 one. Look into Bosch 044 fuel pumps. Might be the answer you've been looking for.

Check out the DW200 pump. It's a 255, plug and play (doesn't need a rewire but you can for more flow), and it's pretty quiet. There is a faint high pitched noise from outside of my car but not from inside. I'm running factory catback so my car is pretty quiet. I specifically bought it because I did not want Walbro whine.

I didn't even think of the DW pumps, that's a great suggestion. Those are made the same way the aeromotive is but instead of 340 the DW200 will flow @ 255. Good call. Or the Bosch I mentioned is a Toyota Supra pump.

Yeah the DW pumps are quite effective in cost.

Unlike SARD.

i know that SARD pumps apparently have a plastic turbine which ends up a lot quieter than the metallic ones within the Walbro.

Terror; did you fit the pump yourself?

Yeah search Walbro noise/sound on YouTube, its pretty bad.

I really appreciate the help guys.

Yup, put the pump in myself. I believe there's an install kit for a couple bucks extra bucks but I can't remember. It was simple.

The DW pump has the same plastic impellor in it too by the way. Not a bad thing, just saying. And all these pumps are super easy to install. They are all basically plug n play. I have had a bunch of walbros and they were all loud but that doesn't mean yours will be loud. I bet there are plenty of people on here that will say their walbro is quiet and they're telling the truth. It's weird but some are loud and some aren't.
