why not anti-sieze?

Sorry all, I have to rant a bit. I realize anti-sieze isn't the end all, but... Do the next owner of your car a favor and try to use anti-sieze on all suspension, brake and exhaust bolts and nuts. My kid learned a few new curse words today as I tried to remove a test pipe from a recently purchased Evo. You'll do yourself a few favors later on down the road if you keep the car. Thanks for letting me vent...

^^^^ sticky.

You could take it a step further and just say "think of the next owner" for anything you do to your car. Think spray painting everything will make it look cool? Think of the next owner, then go spray paint a Honda or something.

I removed my muffler the other day and when I installed it 5 years ago we anti seized everything. Went to remove it over the weekend and all the bolts were seized and snapped. Luckily they just pulled out once they broke but I definitely use it on everything I take apart.

must be an up north thing, My evo 8 had 60k miles when I took off the exhaust (6 year old car at the time). I had no problems removing any of the bolts. When we worked on my friend's evo 8 that he had bought in Pennsylvania, that thing was terrible to work on, bolts rusted everything rusted made it a real pain to work on compared to my car. I don't use anti seize on anything on my car

I put anti-seize on my toast.

I'm religious about it.

Does it work, or are you still seizing up?
