Did licp gains a lot?

I got used ets licp from member here, he shipped it from MI with usps priority 2 days. It's should be LA today but when I check the tracking it's just arrival to NJ. What a mistake! Right now is Saturday and the don't deliver on Weekends...

I will tune my evo on Tuesday, so I may not have time to install it befor the tune. I want to know how much hp gains with the ets licp, should I wait for it or just tune first? Stock pipe right now.

Other mod depending obviously but probably 10-20 horse gain. What I noticed more then anything with my upgraded licp was faster spool actually. Way faster spool in fact. Huge difference.

Well like I said 20 would be on the high side of that estimate but yeah, I would definitely wait for the tune. Good luck and keep us updated with what you make after the tune (HP wise).

My car was on STM's mustang dyno making 406/413 with the stock licp. We put theirs on without taking the car off the dyno and redyno'd it and it made 412/420whp. +6whp/+7wtq on what is known to be a "low reading" dyno, take it for what it's worth.

I just ordered the same LICP from ETS, I can't wait to get this on.

On a related note, does the installation of the LICP require a new tune?

The lower pipe doesn't require a tune, but you will definitely benefit from one

Truth.

Initially I was running a injen kit (Long Route UICP, LICP) and noticed the car was more perky with the LICP. UICP was not noticeable.

I'm running full ETS setup (3" FMIC, Short route UICP, LICP) quality quality quality stuff.

Short route UICP is also a nice improvement over the stock length btw.
