I asked Map this question directly about a week or so ago, and if you are planning to run stock boost levels they suggest the ef3 for that power range. You can probably do it with the 2.5 but I prefer to make my power comfortably than pushing parts to their limits. Only difference in the setup is that I am planning to run gsc s2 cams.

id stick to fp green, red, or a black. all will make that kind of power. at the end of the day id trust a company that specializes in turbos and has a reputation for designing great turbos. but it also comes down to money, map definitely tends to be a lot cheaper.

I would vote: EF3 but that power level will not be achieved with stock cams. S2's have worked well for evo 9's.

To answer your question EF3, you won't make the power you want without cams on the smaller turbo. But if it were me I would get a FP Green or Red for what you're trying to make.

I would get the FP Red. Its a great turbo, one downside is that FP has updated the turbine housing design so now they cost that much more.
