Trunk Cardboard Interchange Question

Ok, I found the part number for the trunk carboard, a very sought after part on here.

A quick google search is showing this same part number in some dodge cars, chrysler and jeep models and it is around 35 dollars cheaper.

Does anyone know if this is the exact same part?

Thanks guys!

Same part number = same part

I order my turn signal stalks from Chrysler instead of Mitsubishi... certain ones are about 1/3 of the price.
Same for aux audio adapters on later Lancers/Sports, they are like $100 from Mitsubishi, if I order from Chrysler they are $30.

If you see the same number, it is the same part. The same goes the other way too. If you need a Dakota master switch that is $500 you can order a Raider one for $70.... same part number.

you might be better off checking the "for sale" part of the forum, people who turn their cars into racecars usually ditch that cardboard piece, mine is sitting in my shed and I doubt I'll ever put it back in the car

Wondering if you have your old one which is broken? You could use it as a template to make your own if you really needed it. Mine has held up fine but could see if it got wet it might end it's life lol.
