Valve cover modification question

So, I am going to be drilling and tapping my valve cover for two -10 AN fittings on the side. I was wondering what you guys have used to seal the fitting in the valve cover? I've seen one person use teflon tape, but I was wondering if anyone had any success with some other sealants.

Thanks!

make sure you either remove the baffles or figure out a way to keep the shavings out.

or you can purchase the ones from STM that are -6an and they just fit into it with no drilling or tapping.

Going to clean really well before and grease up the drill bit and tap. Then clean the hell out of it again. This is with the baffles in.

The -6 AN fitting on the side doesn't breath enough. =(

Just be carefull, the side that doesn't come with the breather fitting will accumulate a lot of oil if you don't add some baffling.
