Looking to buy 05 evo modded w/ 100k miles - advice

As in the title I'm looking to buy an 05 evo w/ 100k miles, that's had some modding - mods included are

Gauges
Spooling COP unit
Perrin inter cooler
Exhaust
HKS 272 cams
Aero motive 340 fuel pump
FIC 1050 injectors

Tranny and clutch both recently replaced - I need a reliable car and I'd use this as a daily driver - any thoughts/advice

When I take a look at the car I'll get the vin and ask mitsubishi about warranty work and naturally run the car fax. I know to listen for whining from transfer case but I'd def like input and advice from you guys, had an A4 that I modded before totaling it and just need another awd sedan.

Thanks in advance.

Timing belt service is recommended by mitsubishi every 60k. Make sure that's been performed and there is documented proof provided supporting that. You don't wanna a timing belt to snap. Repairs are costly. Plus if your not mechanically inclined changing the belt is not cheap either.

Alright, thanks, I'll def have to inquire about that- if these mods were done professionally the reliability of this car pending continued maintenance should be rather good id imagine, those injectors aren't anything too crazy right

The only mod that I would be concerned about being professionally installed would be the camshafts. On the otherhand I would not be worried myself as I have installed cams and followed factory service manual. All the other parts are basic/simple installation. What should be a real concern is the tune on the car.

Thanks again, think ill prob pull the trigger pending what I find out. Driving moderately what kind go gas mileage can you expect, I understand tune has a lot to do with this but a ballpark figure would be appreciative

I bought my 05 GSR SSL with 103k on it, single owner car. About 4k into owning it, it started smoking when I'd let off the gas after doing a pull. Ended up losing compression in one cylinder. Now I've got a new fresh 2.2L in it.

Worked out fine because I bought it to make into a track car.

Damn. How much that cost you, wouldn't buy this for a track car, just really want something for commuting that still fun to drive, decent on gas and awd for bad weather

If an evo is properly looked after, the mileage HARDLY means anything. You've got subarus blowing up on stock power levels. These cars can handle abuse, but be responsible and keep up with maintenance.
