Soi just finished doing a pull in 3rd gear so i shift into 4th normal and i give it gas and the throttle starts shuddering and it started choking upon giving it more throttle i slow down and down shift and it seems to be cathcing the gas again then starts choking upon more throttle again i drove my var home in first gear any ideas on what it could be?

PS. The car still starts fine and can still be tooken out of first gear decently. I also wanted to mention that i upgraded the fuel pump to a warlbro 255 lph.

 

bad spark plugs maybe? maybe needs a tune?

 

can you give a full list of mods?

 

Probably a big boost leak

 

What kind of plugs, Injectors and fuel are you using?

 

Big boost Leak, IE popped off ic pipe.

 

im thinking leak. check your pipes. mine did that also was the intake from turbo to filter.. was just a little loose. let us know

 

sorry took me so long to respond i thought it was my fuel pump because i upgraded it to a warlbro 255 lph and ran it like that for at least a month with out a tune. i put my stock pump back on and still have the same problem.


mods are megan racing turbo back cobb sf intake and i have bosch 1000cc injectors which i havent installed because i was saving money for e85 tune and stage 2 clutch kit with act streetlite flywheel

 

change your spark plugs, check your intercooler piping and do a boost leak test

 

problem was that the lower inter cooler piping was split in half anyone recommend an good brand aftermarket piping kits so i can replace it with?
