tap oil feed for oil pressure

Running an fp black with oil feed from the oil filter housing which left an opportune location at the head for an oil pressure sensor. Any reason not to use the origin oem spot on the head for an oil pressure source? Ive got the ams remote line so heat shouldn't be an issue

This is an evo 9 btw. Thanks!

It will read a lot lower than what the bottom end is seeing for actual oil pressure. The best place is at the oil filter housing

Do not bolt/thread the sensor directly to the oil pump. The vibrations from the motor will cause it to leak. Use a line to connect it to the pump housing and mount the sensor to the frame or something solid.

Not to hijack the thread but is this necessary for all pressure senders? Some of them seem huge and bulky where this may be a issue. My aem one seems pretty small and light weight (very similar to the oem sensor). Could engine vibrations still cause it to crack? For people who have had them fail, what brand were they?
