Oil Pressure Question

Ok as some may know, my turbo is gone.
Most of the people here are claiming lack of lubrication (Doubt it) , or my HKS SSQ BOV was the culprit, to both I say its impossible, unless the 50trim didnt like to Road Race and prefers drag racing (which I doubt).

Some questions:
Has anyone tried to take the oil pressure from the head (stock oil feed line position), I checked mine and at idle is 25 psi.

The oil pressure is supposed to be how much if I install the gauge at the sender?
Whats the oil pressure at idle? And whats the oil pressure at WOT.

Please if anyone has any idea, please let me know. Im trying to find the source as to why this happened.

Thanks to Turbotrix & AGP for an excellent customer service and warranty, turbo is right now in Turbonetics being fixed or replaced, depending on their assesment of the damage to the turbo.

Going to take a stab at it. Is the 50 trim a BB and Garrett based? If so, the max psi for thier CHRA's is like 35-36 psi any more than that and the CHRA will **** the bed.

I have only pushed the turbo for 25 psi no more than that.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize how vauge I was. 35-36 psi is the max oil psi, not max boost.

so whats the peak oil pressure for an evo motor. my HKS guage tels me 3-4 bar at 7500 RPM and less than 1 bar at idle.

contrat to my STI which is at 2bar at idle and 6bar at 8000rpm.

seems a little low on the EVO. i also took the oil feel from the head next to the intake manifold - and from the same channel that feeds the turbo line.

any ideas?
