Does anyone know at what point in oil pressure the light is illuminated?

Thanks

Well, sorry about that. I'm a ruddy idiot.

At a particular drop in oil pressure, if something goes wrong, (for example, your oil pump fails) you should get an oil pressure warning light on your dash. My question is - Does anyone know at what particular pressure that light is triggered to illuminate? For example, if the pressure falls to 40 psi does it trigger, or is it 60, or 25, etc. Thanks

If you have zero oil pressure the red light on your dash will come on.

On the previous models it was around 4 psi, and by that time major damage is normally done.

Right, and I was under the impression that the X setting was higher, indicating that the light would come on at some amount of lower oil pressure. What I don't know, but want to, is at what actual pressure it is triggered.

Here's another question that is more on point. What psi pressure do people set for accusumps to open?

These are the oil pressure specs

Standard value:
At idle: 29 kPa (4.2 psi) or more
At 3,500 r/min: 294 − 686 kPa (43 − 100 psi)

So I imgaine that if your pressure falls too far below these values the light will come on
